Bite of Burnsville 2015 - People's Choice and Chef's Choice



Morgan's Farm to Table wins the People's Choice and Chef's Choice at the 2015 Bite of Burnsville! Morgan’s on Nicollet – Farm to Table has carved out a nice niche among restaurants and bars in Burnsville, MN. Morgan's Farm to Table is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Morgan’s is mostly American cuisine and has a commitment to sustaining the legacy of family farms in Minnesota. What is the Bite of Burnsville? – The Bite of Burnsville is the largest annual fundraising event for the Burnsville Chamber each year. It is a food-tasting event that brings together about 20 of the area’s best rest restaurants. It is open to the public and also includes raffles, a large silent auction, a live auction, and live entertainment.

Who attends the Bite? Anyone is welcome! It’s a mix of Burnsville chamber members, Burnsville community leaders, and the general public.

How are the awards decided? The awards are decided differently per award. The “Chef’s Choice” award is judged by the previous year’s winner. This year, the chefs from Chianti Grill (the 2014 winner) judged each restaurant on their presentation and taste. The “People’s Choice” award is judged by all of the people attending (this year we had around 500 attendees). Each attendee is given one ballot to place in the box of the restaurant for which they feel is their favorite. Generally people decide based on taste.
